EDITOR’S NOTE: When the corrupt liberal media thought the Fort Lauderdale shooter was a vet suffering from PTSD, or a nut case from the psych ward, it was front page news... But the second word got out that he didn’t have PTSD and wasn’t crazy but ... a convert to Islam, they dropped the story like a hot potato.
The Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter is a Muslim convert who years before joining the U.S. Army took on an Islamic name (Aashiq Hammad), downloaded terrorist propaganda and recorded Islamic-religious-music online, according to .. an award-winning, California journalist. This is pertinent information that the Obama administration apparently wants to keep quiet, bringing up memories of the Benghazi cover up, ....
Information is slowly trickling out that links the Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter to radical Islam while the official story from authorities is that the gunman is a mentally ill, Hispanic Army veteran named Esteban Santiago that became unhinged after a tour in Iraq.
Only one mainstream media outlet mentions the possibility of Santiago’s “jihadist identity,” burying it in a piece about New York possibly being his initial target. A paragraph deep in the story mentions that investigators recovered Santiago’s computer from a pawn shop and the FBI is examining it to determine whether he created a “jihadist identity for himself using the name Aashiq Hammad…” The rest of the ... media coverage promotes the government rhetoric that omits any ties to terrorism even though early on a photo surfaced of Santiago making an ISIS salute while wearing a keffiyeh, a Palestinian Arab scarf. -snip-

Santiago shot dead a retired Navy man and shot an active member of the Air Force who did survive. In addition, a former soldier he served with in Iraq in was coincidently at Ft. Did you see post #4? Tucker snuck in a statement at the end of his show and referenced Judicial Watch. He just kind of dropped it like a min-bomb, that was it.
In addition to what Santiago rampage, it’s important- who he shot. They did not release the name of the 5th victim until last night. Her husband was shot as well, but survived. She’s Mary Louise and he’s Edward J Amzibel from Delaware, MD & NY. (Authorities claim he lives in Ohio.)
In the TMZ tape, Santiago-Ruiz appears to target his first victim(s).
Media had dropped the -Ruiz from his name and that made him harder to find. His FB and social networking was obviously mainly erased by the time the ‘Santiago’ name was released. Charles Johnson was very persistent to dig out what they found regarding his ties to islam.
There’s also a cover-up regarding the amount of time they spent with him. They were either told to stand-down or they are really inept. The FBI spent 3-10 minutes with him and dumped him with APD. No follow-up.
No kidding.
Precisely why this story was dropped like a hot falafel.

Many stories we all know about have been utterly banned by MSM. Others come out only after an absolute Internet firestorm (like Clinton-Lewinsky).
We should realize by now that even FoxNews is subject to pressures. Even Hannity was forced to run that inane story about Anna Nicole Smith night after night . . . just sayin’. Even formerly respected “conservative” commentators (e.g., Mark Levin) have fallen under the thumb of influencers who pay their way.

Some NY travelers on NYE who will never realize it are very lucky they got a 2017.
We need massive changes in our ability and techniques to fight “lone” jihadis. They are still looking at last century’s counter terrorism. And it doesn’t start with gun control.

Under Obama Homeland Secutity and DoD have raised the threshold for identifying something as suspicious behavior and as a result has reduced the possibility of catching people during their radicalization period.
Fixing the profile needs to be an early priority.
Thank-you. The information that I have included in the top of the story or in the 1st post or two are unique and not found in the articles posted by the media outlets. The choice is to create a whole new blog story, which I very rarely have done. It’s easier to include new stuff upfront where it will be seen by many more people.
The Ft. Ldle angle of the suppression of one of the names of the deceased is of high interest. None of the news articles mentioned this, they were forced to disclose the name by law.
This guy Santiago, flew a very long way to pull this off.
If he was just a cold-blooded killer, he could have walked into McD’s or a number of spots in Anchorage and had 3 X 4 times the head count. There’s more to the story, much more to his goal.
Ft. Lauderdale is number #3 - #4 in the nation for a terrorist threat. And it’s not a very big airport. It has a very large LEO presence, Santiago knew that.
7 of the 19 hijackers 9/11/01 lived near FLL and 15 had lived within 2 hours of that area during 2001. Mohammed Atta lived 20 miles away from FLL. There’s some reason that Santiago picked FLL or he has been told to terrorize FLL by his handlers.
Flying to Seattle or SF or MN would have been a heck of a lot simpler. Or, he could have brought his carnage to the Anchorage baggage carousel and saved himself the trouble of flying 5000 miles.
Hopefully DJT will assign extra manpower and discover why this happened.
