The Justice Department inspector general says he will investigate the actions of the Justice Department and FBI in the months leading up to the 2016 election, including whether department policies were followed by FBI Director James Comey.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz says the investigation will also look at whether the FBI deputy director should have been recused from the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation and allegations that department officials improperly disclosed nonpublic information to the Clinton campaign.

That should only take them a couple of days, and they can be exonerated and promoted before Obama leaves office!
How about investigating Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton?
Never mind all the Trump leaks - including from the CIA.
Mr. Horowitz is going to have a DOSSIER as soon as Christopher Steele comes out of hiding just so the Clinton camp makes sure they can CONTROL the Inspector General!!
This is another attempt at making the election results look unfair and illegitimate. These idiots will never stop harping and whining about losing the election.
When it comes to complaining about Comey, conservatives have a far better case of unfairness than the dems. Comey should have never given Hillary a pass.
I’d be happy if he resigned and Trump appointed another FBI Director. That swamp needs draining too.
that nice doggie’s lifespan is probably very very short now anyway

and
he doesn’t “need a dog’ anymore (trying to “pass as an American”)
We all know that won’t happen until after Trump takes office.
Should wait until AFTER President-elect Trump takes office and appoints new management. Let the new management do the investigations, even appoint a special prosecutor since no one currently employed at the FBI or Justice Department can fairly investigate themselves. Yes, Trump should have his team appoint several special prosecutors so that investigations of all of this, the Clinton Foundation, and so forth are free of politics insofar as they can be.
