It’s all good- I am a Cub fan too and it does not matter to me who they visit. It was amazing to me that they even won the Series and was a lifetime thrill for me that even Obama cannot erase.
My Dad passed away in April and, a Chicagoan, he loved all the teams. He would have loved to see the Cubbies win finally.
Also, since Obama lived in Chicago, this visit makes sense. I don’t think it’s political.
If Obama invited them, it would be rude to decline.
