The problem for entertainers is that no matter what their opinion, they are going to tick off enough people that it will affect their income and popularity, and have no impact other than that.

Nearly all of them do, because they are basically stupid people intellectually who have the mistaken idea that their money and “celebrity” make them smart.

I have noticed over the years that it is primarily the retirement age or “financially comfortable” “stars” that display such biased behavior.
This is nothing more than control freak behavior by the “stars” that was taught to them by their economic masters who use them to puke their control freak message.
The really rich buy(make) stars to sell their perverted message. Some of the “stars” become rich enough to join into this freak show.
Untold millions of people have been lost to garbage liberal entertainment in Hollyweird.
Dixie Chicks were/are aiming for a country fan base. Meryl Streep is not. No comparison.

Which is why none of them should espouse a public opinion. All doing so does is alienate half your fanbase.
