"Britain Invests Billions in Cybersecurity in Face of Russian Threat"
From your link, this story was dated November 8th, 2016. Given the fact that Russia, China, and other governments have long been known to be engaging in serious hacking efforts, and have often succeeded in penetrating federal databases, why is the alleged hack of the DNC suddenly a motive for massive ramping-up of anti-hacking efforts? It doesn't make sense.
This whole frenzy has the feel of a disinformation campaign whose motives are other than the stated ones.
To tell the truth, I have not been comfortable with the CIA for decades. I resent the fact that - as an American - I have often been surprised and embarrassed by their actions both here and abroad. To cite just one example, the whole Valerie Plame affair sent a signal that there is deep and ugly politicization in the agency.
