The only "occupiers" are the Muslims left in the Holy Land from the 1,400-year old Islamic conquest. Just like Spain threw them out after 770 years of occupation there, Israel needs to get the rest of them out.
Jerusalem is no more "holy" to Islam than Cordoba or Madrid. It would be just as absurd as Jews demanding half of Mecca or Medina. It will take a Trump to get the hard work done.

For those unfamiliar (as I was), Area C is mainly the eastern border of the West Bank, the area directly across from Jordan - also some other scattered areas. Obviously the border area is critical for Israel’s defense. The vast majority of West Bank Palestinians live outside of Area C, with only about 7% in that area. Also, as I understand it, all of the Jewish settlements are in Area C. If Israel were to annex it (and that looks more likely under Trump) and integrate it into Israel proper, they’d pick up about 150,000 Palestinians and about 350,000 Jews...a somewhat higher percentage of Palestinians than reside in the rest of Israel, but a small enough number overall to not threaten their demographics. Needless to say, if Israel does annex Area C, the world will be screaming, but the local Palestinians will be quite happy at the thought of not having to live under their local Palestinian dictators.

If they’ve got a free hand to just toss out Hamas, I think so. They annexed it after 1948 and before the Sinai Campaign, exact date unknown to me. The eyes of the world aren’t on Egypt the way they are on Israel, so I think they’d get a free hand.

Exactly. Israel benefits Area C Arabs. The PA just sucks away their livelihood.

Whatever their provenance, the so-called “Palestinians” do not deserve a state. Since they were invented as a separate people in the 1970s, their only legacy has been terror, murder, welfare and lies. They produce nothing of value to anyone. The Kurds deserve a state. The Arabs living in Judea and Samaria do not.

The Palestinian Authority's International Relations Department in Ramallah condemned Israel's "empiralistic calls" to annex Area C, warning such a move may have "dangerous consequences" and would destroy any chance of a "Palestinian" state.

Yeah! Let's hear it!!

The so-called “Palestinians” have NEVER been interested in living in their own state, side-by-side with Israel.

- Not when Transjordan was split off from Palestine;

- Not in the 2 or so years before Israeli independence was declared;

- Not after Israel won its war for independence against 5 invading Arab armies

- Not in 1964 when the PLO was founded with the EXPLICIT goal (3 years BEFORE any of the currently disputed territories were taken over by Israel) of destroying Israel

- Not after the 1967 6 Day War, when Israel offered to give back ALL of the territories (including Jerusalem) in exchange for peace with all of the Arabs

- Not after negotiating specifically for this in the Oslo Accords in 1993

- Not after Ehud Barak offered them 97% of the territory of the “West Bank” in exchange for peace

- Not after Israel just GAVE the Paleoswinians all of the Gaza Strip (which, just as a reminder to those ignorant of the facts, had been without any dispute EGYPTIAN territory before the 1967 war), at the cost of expelling over 9,000 Israeli citizens who had labored and spent money for the previous 40 years to make a home and a productive place out of that territory.

- Not any time since then

They are not interested in peace, they are interested in rage against Israel and the primary component of Israel - Jews. They had a chance to create a paradise, one subsidized by most of the world, in Gaza...but instead chose to destroy productive property handed to them on a silver platter and use that territory to (once again) attack innocent Israelis.

The Palestinians have done nothing but EXACTLY what Golda Meir said that the Arabs do: “The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.” Why do they do this, you may ask? Simple, and again the answer was provided by Mrs. Meir: “There will be peace in the Middle East when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us.” Clearly, these characteristics have not changed - if anything, they have intensified. So, they don’t want peace, then phuck’em!

“Annex it and be done with it.

Though that said, I almost favor giving the Palestinians exactly what they asked for, their own state. Then when they inevitably launch rockets into Israel (because there’s no way they won’t), go crush them as a formal state perpetrating acts of war and be done with it. “We gave you a state, you kept attacking us, no more state for you.” “

That’s been done - Israel gave the Paleoswinians all of Gaza, complete with productive properties (mainly farms and green houses producing tens of millions of dollars worth of flowers for Europe), and all they did was destroy the properties (because JOOOOOOS built it) and use the entire place as a launching pad for mortars and missiles. Screw them, they’ve had their chance on multiple occasions. Every time Israel offers their hand in peace, they get it back missing a few fingers. ENOUGH!

Jordan IS the Palestinian state - because even with the Hashemites in charge, about 65% of the population is so-called “Palestinian.”

As an interesting note, I once subscribed to the Jerusalem Post (an English language weekly here in the US that summarized the week’s news and opinions), and part of the deal was that they’d send me a copy of the front page on the day after Israel declared independence. To my surprise, the paper was then called the “Palestine Post” - and “Palestinian” then referred to JEWS who lived in the British Mandate of Palestine. So it isn’t enough that these Neanderthals made up their own existence as a cohesive people, but they also had to steal the moniker.

“That’s fine too. The objective would be to give the Palestinians actual statehood somewhere - and then when they inevitably attack Israel, Israel will be well justified under the laws of nations in attacking and eradicating this nation that has decided to commit acts of war against it. Problem solved.”

Its been tried before, and Israel didn’t have the cajones to eradicate them. Ever hear of Gaza? No, it wasn’t officially a “state,” but they had full control.

Israel should go after Terrorist Leadership.

They don’t for fear of losing access to intel.

I believe that in their situation that is a mistaken priority.

“by Mrs. Meir: “There will be peace in the Middle East when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us.”

One of the stupidest utterances ever by a person in a position of responsibility for her people’s lives.

Of course the Arabs love their children! They love them SO much that they wish glorious martyrdom slaughtering Jews for them, with perpetual life in paradise instead of life on this rock.

Poor foolish Golda’s error was to presume all people are the same and want the same things. Maybe she took the “Its a Small World After All” ride at Disney, who knows?

People are not all the same, and they don’t all want the same things. The Arabs want the Jews in Israel dead. That problem won’t be solved by wishful thinking about Arab mothers being really Jewish mothers under the burka. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The pigasstinians don’t recognize Israel.

Well, as that’s the case, the Israelis can just take what they want.

Someone actually proposed an interesting "Three-State Solution" recently that made more sense than a "Two-State Solution" in many ways.

The trouble with all such "solutions" is that the "Palestinians" don't want a "two-state" solution, they want ONE state.

And we all know which "one state" they DON'T want.

Annex all of the West Bank including “East Jerusalem” and be done with it. The Arabs can have Gaza. They’ve turned it into a complete hell hole anyway.

If Gaza went back to Israel, it would flourish and all the arabs would make more money and have a higher standard of living.

Yeah, but in order to settle it, it would have to be a full, recognized state.

In 1947 Palestine was split into Israel and Jordan. The Palestinians already have a state, it’s called Jordan.
They just want an excuse, any excuse, to hate Jews.

This is the fundamental truth that the leftists and liberals have been covering up for decades.

This whole “Jews can’t live in Judea” nonsense is absolute nonsense.
