The largest armed U.S. military brigade to be deployed to Europe since the end of the Cold War arrived Saturday at a port in northern Germany, military officials said.
The U.S. Army's 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division arrived in the port of Bremerhaven on Friday and began a days-long process of deploying heavy equipment including tanks and armored vehicles. The deployment is the culmination of a promised heavier armed troop presence in eastern Europe since the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014.
The move was meant to reassure nervous NATO allies the United States was prepared to respond in the event of further Russian aggression in the region.
The arrival of the 3,500-troop heavy brigade is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The Army has maintained troop deployments in the region for decades, but had allowed their numbers to lapse for months at a time as troops were rotated out of Europe without being replaced. Stars and Stripes reported the Pentagon plans to maintain the full deployment and immediately replace returning soldiers after their 9-month deployments are completed.

I suspect the deployment has very little or nothing to do with the Ukraine and everything to do with Hussein trying to stir up a hornet’s nest for Trump, perhaps get a war started. If he can get troops and A/C engaged in attacks on Russian positions in Syria and/or East Europe he would be attempting to force Trump to be militarily engaged in order to end any chance of pleasant relations with Putin.
Unless they are there to wipe out the islam scum, get them out in 12 days.
Biggest threat in Germany is Merkel’s rapefugees.

We never should have let the Baltic nations of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia into NATO. Obligations to go war over these nations bordering Russia is ridiculous.
How would we feel if China or Russia entered into military treaties with Canada and Mexico and then put their troops on our borders?

If we told Germany all of our troops were Muslim they would take care of our military for life and pay for it all.
Outstanding question! America’s politicians want a redo of the Cold War so they can benefit from the defense contractors who will line their pockets for the contracts. It is not for the security of America. It is for their own financial security.
