But we must NEVER allow a photo ID. It's not that critical.

The stupidity of Obama is hard to believe.
This will backfire as bad as Reid’s imposition of the nuclear option.
It’s not like Trump is going to keep Jeh Johnson.
This could be the perfect vehicle - along with a scotus pick to accomplish election reform.

centralized vote tabulations locations used to support the election process, as well as information and communications technology like voter registration databases, voting machines

There we go. All voting machines will be "monitored" from DC on Election Day to make sure that another uncompromised candidate like Trump -- or maybe Trump himself in four years -- doesn't wreck the carefully laid plans of TPTB.

Federal protection... or a nose under the tent for Federal interference?

Weren’t we assured before the election that all was safe, because DHS was on the case? Then we were told that DHS tried to hack into the election computers of several states, particularly Georgia. Was this part of Federal protection? Or, was it attempted Federal interference?

I certainly expect so.

Did anyone ever get the impression that Jeh Johnson has a mouthful of something distasteful?

So in the next 1 days is DHS going to declare that the Elections were Compromised and everything is On Hold while there is a DHS investigation that might last many months?

Good, then we should have no problem with requiring picture id's to vote. Seriously scrutinize voter roles, create much stiffer penalties for voting more than once, or voting with the identity of someone else.

Be careful what you wish for because you may get more than you bargained for.

Gee, who knows, Republican may starting winning the popular vote also.

The administration has been weighing the move for some time.

Yeah, but had to wait for the election results before doing anything.

In this country the plant would just fire all the nonproductive workers. In France it is just about impossible to fire someone. For that reason unemployment stays high. Companies don’t hire unless they absolutely have to hire someone.
