Report: Advanced Russian missiles discovered in Syria
World Israel News ^ | 6 Jan 17 | Unknown

An Israeli spy satellite reportedly discovered advanced Russian mobile ballistic missiles stored in Syria.

Israel’s “Eros B” satellite has taken high-definition photos of Russian “Iskander” missiles being transported on trucks inside an army base in Latakia, western Syria, Israel’s Channel 2 reported.

Iskander missiles are among the most advanced in Russia’s possession, with a range of up to 500 kilometers and the capacity to deliver nuclear warheads within seven7 meters of a target.

The satellite pictures of the Iskander missiles would be the first proof that Russia has transferred such advanced weapons to Syria.

This was in preparation for Hillary winning and us taking on Russia. Great way for us to start WW3.

Damn, that was close.

Putin is getting ready to wipe out the ISIS air force. Winning.

Surface-to-surface missiles with a five-hundred kilometer range would be the ideal air defense weapon. And the nuclear capability is sweet too. It’s the best way to protect innocent people from Isis.

Thank you, Obama, for inviting the Russians into Syria.

They must have been deployed there for some time.
Since there are no reports about them being used on any target, they apparently were deterrance of a stupid move by the Turks (the most likely addressee due to reach). Why the hysteria?

EXACTLY: When they set our country on a warpath against Russia, it’s only reasonable that Russia would use its best hardware to win that war - or at least make the consequences so bad that possibly even Hillary would get out of her drug-induced stupor to back off, as Obama had to do earlier.

Thankfully, I have no doubt, this hardware will soon be packed up and headed back to Russia, as it simply will no longer be needed to prevent a WW3.

they were NOT “transferred to Syria.” they are on a Russian base under Russian control.

It’s more than double the assumed range of these missiles from the Syrian border to Istanbul. But Ankara might just be within it, as are all the cities in Lebanon and Israel, Amman in Jordan, and northern Saudi Arabia and western Iraq. Their presence might cause some alteration in everybody’s plans and behavior in the region. My guess, and it’s only that, is they’re especially intended to keep Saudis and the Turks honest.

Read Isaiah 17. Russia missiles in Syria may cause Israel to strike Damascus if threatened.

I don’t know why the hysteria. I suppose the Israelis just don’t have the same cavalier attitude that some folks have.

Yeah, if there is a WWIII you can bet, BobL, it will be our fault. We’re the great Satan, as Russia’s ally Iran likes to say, and surely you’re one of the smart guys that gets that.

It’s not really a weapon that’d be used against them, but Putin does appreciate his blank check to do as he pleases.

For now...we’ll see if they take them home with them, or if they ever leave for that matter.
