Arnold Schwarzenegger just fired back at Donald Trump, calling out his priorities and commitment to making America great again.
Arnold is clearly reacting to Trump's blustery tweet, in which he says Schwarzenegger got creamed in 'Celebrity Apprentice' ratings when you compare them to what the Prez-elect got in his debut.
Schwarzenegger just responded, by tweeting, "I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings."
As we reported, the reality is Trump got huge ratings for his debut, but by his last season his rating for 'Celeb Apprentice' was roughly the same as Arnold's debut.
Arnold followed up with, "There's nothing more important than the people's work." Translation -- you shouldn't be involved in a ratings war.
After the election, Arnold posted a video quoting Abraham Lincoln calling for unity. Apparently, message not received well.

This is Trump’s method of controlling media coverage. Changing the subject back and forth in a fast way gives him control and doesn’t allow the media to settle on just one big lie for a prolonged period of time.
And then the ratings went up and Trump made more money. You have all heard that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, right?
Agreed, that was stupid of the PE to tweet. Let it go. Wish Ahnold success.
Trump is nominally Arnies boss since he owns the show
so this might be a bit of showboating on both their parts - generating free PR

Trump is rolling like a limp and making himself fat stacks bi*ches. If the ratings for The Apprentice improve he makes more money. He will publicly flog Schwarzenegger tot-for-tat to help the show break through and get its legs. This is like the fake wrestling fights and let us not forget Trump dabbled in TV wrestling.
Arnold appears to be looking for some sort of new role, possibly in politics again. So, any mass media coverage helps him he figures. And if he can ‘engage’ President Trump doing it, all the better...makes for more attention to Arnold... which may help him get offered some sort of employment (beyond wrapping Big Macs, that being the only available work left for us now in Obama’s Great Depression Amerika-stan)

I agree. He does this about every 1.5 - 3 days, on average. Something big enough to make an interesting flash-in-the-pan for liberals to go fawn over.
It takes them away from more directly pestering him.
Arnold said some pretty crappy things about Trump. What was hilarious to me were his comments about Trump having problems with “women”.

Arnold jabbed at Trump. He put himself out there to the public. He is not just an average citizen. Trump is also tweaking a number of other people.
Trump is very energetic. Typing out that tweet takes seconds.
Trump, as president, will still have to engage in things that we don’t consider presidential, that do not have the grandiose, dramatic, swelling music in the background announcing his every grand effort.
Arnold, I had really high hopes for you originally, when you were in politics.
Admit it. You buckled.
Granted, you kept your popularity, but you buckled.
Do not expect the same, from Donald. Maybe he will, and I will if so, then be disappointed in him, as I am in you.
But I haven’t seen that yet.
I don’t think he will.
