I don’t get it - if we’re adding jobs, how the hell is unemployment going up? Last time I checked, more jobs meant less unemployment.

It seems counter-intuitive, but the unemployment rate is going up because more people re-entered the job market place.

It’s exactly what usually happens, and it’s actually a good sign.
