Video Shows Thief Beating Man with Broomstick (Finally- a White-on-Black Hate Crime)

Surveillance video released by cops shows a thief beating a man with a broomstick in the lobby of a Bronx building.

The 50-year-old victim had just entered the building on Boston Road near Union Avenue in the Morrisania section of the Bronx when the robber approached him around 8:10 a.m. Monday, according to police.

After beating the victim, the assailant grabbed the man’s wallet and took off, cops said.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released, according to police.

The suspect is about 5-foot-5 and 140 pounds with a mustache, a heavy build and a shaved head, cops said. He was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt with a design on the front, blue jeans and black sneakers.

In the video, you can clearly see that the White man taking the beating actually attempts to grab the broom from the attacking black man- and at one point, even raises his hands to shield himself from the blows-- in Obama's America, that amounts to a white-on black hate crime. Somebody alert Eric Holder to begin proceedings.

The victim is either White or Hispanic from the looks of it. The attacker is most definitely a frito bandito.
