Today's proceeding is the final vetting of the election process. If Scheiß is going to happen (that's a "bizarre happening" for those of you in Rio Linda), this is the final chance.
E.g., if Harvard Law Moron Lessig had been successful in rounding up faithless electors, the procedure would have been to disqualify their votes this morning, thereby throwing the election to the House and electing Trump. Now that would have been bizarre! But correct! And fortunately unnecessary.
In the event, it was Hillary who lost the most electors to faithlessness.

I think most MSM are idiots or worse.
There is a tiny, amusing, masochistic group of lefties who think they can get a number of electors disqualified for things like not having residency, etc.
These are the same people who wanted Recountmas, then ECmas and now Confirmmas.
It takes a special kind of stupid to lose the same election 4 times.
