Facebook on Thursday refused to respond to mounting questions over its apparent failure to take down a live broadcast of the brutal attack of a young man with disabilities in Chicago.
Wednesday’s Facebook Live video showing a man bound, gagged and cut with a knife amid shouts of “fuck Donald Trump” undermines the company’s efforts to market the tool.
For the last few months, Facebook has been running a multimedia advertising campaign encouraging users to try its video live-streaming product.

At any given moment there must be hundreds of thousands of videos being live streamed. they can’t police them all simultaneously..............
AND , this is not the first time this ‘group’ posted a video of them torturing a ‘retarded white guy’.
Did people want it removed sooner out of consideration for the victim, or to protect the perps and squelch the story?

Except Facebook was told a crime was in progress and did NOTHING.
They refuse to comment because zuckerberg approves. He is a terrible, evil dude. I attack him personally on fb quite often and even managed to draw his attention and let he himself hear what I think of him and his hypocrisy. Beheaded Christians are fine and dandy, but try loading a picture of mo ham head getting raped by a pig and you get banned. Trust me. I do it often, on purpose.
Maybe because they didn’t see anything wrong with beating somebody into saying “F White People” and “F Trump”.
By leaving the video up, it exposes these animals to the whole world.
Facebook saw nothing wrong with it.
That’s why.

On the one hand, Facebook took the video down within 30 minutes and that seems like a reasonable period of time for a big organization with thousands of videos being posted daily. On the other hand, its good to keep the pressure on Facebook to be very, very vigilant about things like this. Put aside the political and racial angle on this — a lot of people post videos live that have no business being posted. Perhaps Facebook needs to shut this service down.

Yeah, I know. But compared to bezos, he’s bearable.
What are they supposed to do? Technically at that point it’s evidence, if they make it stop recording they’re destroying evidence. Pretty much the only thing they could do was wait for it to finish, archive it for LE, and remove it from the site.
They may have, but how many people do they have monitoring the thousands of videos being uploaded? I would bet they have fewer than a hundred total for the entire world, and if the few who watched the video did indeed contact Facebook, how many people were in line ahead of them? And how many others just ignored it?..............
How do you know they took it down in 30 minutes. Did I miss that in the story? The video was 30 minutes.
Who is responsible?
The idiots who did this? or the O_tard who gave them the sense of empowerment and agitated them to do violence, fully expecting to not be held accountable for any of it?
He has destroyed any sense of reality these useful idiots ever had.
