YOU MEAN SUGAR ISNT GOOD FOR YOU ???????
Sugar is necessary in small amounts. HFCS isn’t necessary at all................

I suspect they went a step to far here. Cigs were hated by non smokers. It was easy for the Blue States AGs to pile on. Start going after day to day staples and voters are going to be a lot less tolerant of these sort of attempts to politically micromanaged their lives
You believe these products are unhealthy and the chemicals in diet drinks are worse, but you're against excessive regulation? Does that mean you're in favor of moderate regulation?
Why dont they go after the root of the problem which is the corn industry that has pushed to get high fructose corn syrup into so many foods?
What problem are you talking about? How is HFCS different from sugar in any way that would justify going after it but not sugar? The corn industry didn't push to get HFCS in foods. It was the response to the federal government protecting domestic sugar producers from competition that caused the cost of sugar to skyrocket.
Sugar isn't addicting but HFCS (sugar) is? Hopefully, anyone considering a lawsuit will have someone with a basic understanding of chemistry educate them before they give their money to lawyers.
When you look up the term "junk science" in the dictionary, you'll find this "study."
Revenue desperation is a big problem on the Left and the Right as in Democrats, Republicans and the parties of their ilk around the world.
Failing economies and the inability to end the welfare state mean new revenue streams must be developed.
Pot legalization is a step in this direction along with global warming taxes-carbon taxes and so on.
Justin Trudeau in Canada is moving forward with both ideas to keep the Canadian welfare state funded.
