Provision will have to be made for the many people with pre-existing conditions that were dropped from their old insurance by Zerocare...IMO this was planned so as to make it difficult and expensive to repeal this monstrosity since no insurance company will want to cover these people.. It would be like selling fire insurance to a man whose house was already on fire.
In the end I think they will cover them under an expansion of medicare...it will have to be paid for. Perhaps all the welfare funds now going to illegals and rapefugees would cover it :-)

Anyway, Pelosi’s Dems are stuck with supporting any laws that ease the repeal of Obamacare. This is all bluster by Dems and their media.

There are around 20 million Americans who the old system did not cover.
Those people are covered now. Whatever you think of Obamacare, that is a big challenge, for any leader now.

Every socialist program has the unstated goal of entwining itself around and within the social structure so as to make itself difficult to remove, much like the advanced stages of cancer.
It’s certain to face a swift death. Trump knows how much it’s screwing up healthcare.

Of course nothing will happen today. Obama is still president, and he will sign nothing.
The GOP is united in ending it, it will be ended.
Obamacare will be difficult to repeal. It’s got many pieces embedded in all areas of the healthcare system. It was drafted to be hard to undo by creating so many tentacles placing so much garbage in so many places.
Congress should absolutely pass the bill to repeal it as soon as Trump takes over. But it’s not realistic to expect it to be off the books all in one day.
The replace solution has to come from the private sector.
They have had 6 years to prepare for this day. The USA concluded WWII in four.
The “It can’t be done” media chorus is going to be non-stop.
The main opposition will come from the gay crowd, where somewhere over 20% are HIV+, and where the yearly cost of treatment is in the $10’s of thousands.
It the don’t repeal it immediately and at once then Obamacare will be with us, in one unworkable and costly form or another, forever.
