Trump to Continue "Freaking Mainstream Media Out" Will "Boldly Use" Twitter For Policy Announcements
ZeroHedge ^ | January 2, 2017 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 01/02/2017 7:19:41 AM PST by John123

Having drawn the ire of the mainstream press for his extensive use of Twitter in announcing major developments and policy shifts, President-elect Donald Trump will not end the "onslaught" of posts on Twitter that fed his unconventional campaign, even after taking on the formalized duties of the Oval Office later this month, as Bloomberg notes following an announcement by incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer who said he expects Trump "will boldly use" Twitter to make major policy announcements.

“You know, with all due respect, I think it freaks the mainstream media out that he has this following of over 45 plus million people that follow him on social media, that he can have a direct conversation,” Spicer said. “He doesn’t have to have it funneled through the media.”

National Media doesn't like it when they cannot slant press releases to fit their agenda.

Spicer said that after China in 2015 seized records of U.S. government employees "no action publicly was taken. Nothing, nothing was taken when millions of people had their private information, including information on security clearances that was shared. Not one thing happened." "So there is a question about whether there's a political retribution here versus a diplomatic response," he added.

Things that make you go hmmm.

And pathetic Obama, leading from behind, as usual, has taken to twitter to tell everyone about his “accomplishments”. Lol - I’m sure the press will be just as critical of him. Actually, they’ll join in and push the Obama success b.s. for him.

Trump is “freaking out” liars and subversives; literally the enemies of our free republic.

Let them freak, they are not normal.

The media are a collective of sick degenerates who’s only claim to fame is surviving a make-up chair daily and telling lies they are told to tell convincingly.

I will never even wade in to the social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc) swamp.

I frankly don’t care about what people are doing, eating or feeling.

Thinking is another matter ... but it’s hard to discuss anything in depth with character limits.

I never thought it would happen in my lifetime, but we are truly witnessing the end of the mainstream media's monopoly on information.

Things Trump can do to continue to freak out the Leftist Establishment:

1) Continue to use Twitter. With a current 18.4 million followers, his Twitter audience is far bigger than the number of people who watch CNN.

2) Post what he has to say on a blog on the White House web site. Cross-post to Facebook.

3) Start using sites which compete against Twitter (like gab.ai) and Facebook and Youtube, as a “shot across the bow” to these Leftist-controlled sites, putting them on notice that censoring and discriminating against conservatives will not be tolerated.

4) Mention in his Tweets any good articles he sees from Breitbart, Drudge, and other pro-Trump media.

I just added him to my list of people I follow on twitter (total = 2). That also happens to be the number of my followers (2).

Why should he run his message through them when they won’t report what he says accurately?

Unless of course, Twitter closes his account down.

I follow the Jets (dont laugh), Tim Tebow and Trump.

My sister and wife follow me :)

My wife uses it profusely and I tease her about it all the time. :)

Remember when “friends” were people you could actually visually see and hear in person? :)

At this point I wouldn't give a d@mn if he issued an EO declaring corporate media like the NYT, WaPo, LAT and others illegal.

Blatantly unconstitutional? Absolutely. Do I care what happens to those ruthless, unscrupulous enemies of freedom? Nope.

I’m not sure who follows me, might be a random accident. I just logged in for the first time in over a year and twitter made me jump through an extra hoop. Back then I was following my local weather forecast but it’s easier just to go to the website.
