Rudy Giuliani: Donald Trump’s Outsider Cabinet Is Shaking D.C. Up
time.com ^ | Rudy Giuliani

Posted on 01/02/2017 5:57:03 AM PST by RoosterRedux

America is already gearing up for one of the most exciting civic ceremonies in the world: the inauguration of our next president. But even as the eagerness for that day builds, we ought to stop and recognize the history unfolding before our eyes.

By almost any measure, President-elect Donald J. Trump is leading one of the most extraordinary presidential transition periods of all time.

One of President-elect Trump’s most historic characteristics is his complete outsider status. On the day President-elect Trump takes office, he will be the first individual ever to serve as president who did not have any previous U.S. military or government experience. This occurrence is literally unprecedented, and a very clear sign that he holds a completely new perspective on the real world, will judge people on results and not rhetoric, and will embrace a practical approach to solving our greatest challenges. President-elect Trump is ready to get things done, and he won’t be held back by old Beltway traditions and loyalties.

President-elect Trump is also rapidly assembling an incredibly talented Cabinet to help him implement his America First agenda.

True to his outsider form, President-elect Trump isn’t just combing through the ranks of the federal government alone to fill these posts. He has chosen, among others, multiple CEOs (Linda McMahon, Steven Mnuchin, Andy Puzder, Wilbur Ross, Rex Tillerson), some of the most distinguished generals of our time (General John Kelly, General James Mattis, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn), a renowned pediatric surgeon (Dr. Ben Carson), and highly respected state governors (Nikki Haley and Rick Perry). This variety of highly qualified leaders will bring outside-the-box thinking to an administration committed to fixing Washington and returning power to the forgotten man and woman.

I remember Jimmy Carta started off his first days shaking up Washington D.C by bringing people from his peanut farm like Hamilton Jordan to run the offices.

It’s called “off the record”. It’s how true friends communicate...totally honest with each other.

Today’s the day the RATS ramp up the resistance to the inauguration.

You think zero went out of his way to destroy race relations when he was assured his agenda would continue, wait’ll you see what he does when it ain’t.

Shame on you, AZ and SC voters.

Most voters are low information voters. The poor SOBs who voted for McCain and Lynda Graham in the primaries, think they are some sort of conservatives because they have R after their names and both were in the military.
Those who voted in the general for them probably stayed home for any primary or being low information voted for the R, incumbent (McCain got 59% in primary this year) while selecting Trump in the primary by a much higher margin at the same time.

Primariing a standing politician is a difficult thing. It is doable but requires lots of money and advertising and a replacement candidate of some name recognition and stature.

Yeah, but......I hear the Dems are really in a fighting mood. They are so
mad, they even coined a new Obamacare Motto: "If you liked your plan,
that's too frickin' bad. You get Obamacare or nothing."

===============================================

A-n-o-t-h-e-r indication rejected Dems are manning-up and ready to fight the good fight.

(hat tip Dave Barry)

Dems endless losing streak cost them (a) the presidency, (b) both
houses of Congress, and, (c) the majority of the state legislatures.

Naturally, Dems desperately seek an explanation for their party’s incessant
failures. So after a long, hard, critical look in the mirror, Dems reluctantly
forced themselves to stop seeking scapegoats and place the blame where it
belongs:

<><>the Russians,

<><> Facebook, and, of course,

<><> James Comey.

This variety of highly qualified leaders will make Trump the most Bureaucratic Light POTUS ever! Farewell to most of the Politically Correctness that has crippled the nation’s freedom to speak the truth about almost anything.

We shouldn’t hesitate to include Nikki H. in that same category. She’s done little to warrant exclusion.

The Clinton campaign team proved to be a ruinous gaggle of entitled, smarmy, elitist, know-it-alls.

Scratch off the cheap "tolerant and compassionate" veneer of the Obama/Hillary types and you get raging haters, salivating to overthrow the US govt, to install a govt of their choosing.

Imagine a Hillary administration of Jennifer Palmieri clones, telling we, the people, what to do, as they loll around scarfing up kale chips and vegetarian quinoa....... counting the number of brown people in govt, all of them ripping us off bigtime.....cashing US govt checks 9-5.

2016 is the year Americans simply had had enough of these phony hate- filled liberal progressives.

============================================

More egregiously, these deluded inbred progressive types acted like US ntl security and the safety and security of America was inconsequential.

“Mundane” matters like US ntl security didn’t make the A-list of “Things To Do Until Hillary Is In The Oval Office.” They were too busy measuring the drapes for a (gag) Hillary presidency.

.....and thinking up ways to feather their own nests.

There is something so intrinsically troubling about the self-absorbed mindset of these creeps, the Obamas the Clintons....John Podesta, Jennifer Palmeri, Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, and the rest. Their concerns are limited by “I, my, me, mine.” They can’t see past their own needs and desires.

A truly fruity bunch. That they are still in our midst as we type is extremely worrisome.

==============================================

As for Hillary, she was an unpopular candidate running on Obama's (gag) "progressive legacy"......his race-baiting, letting millions of terrorist cross our borders, plus all of his cockamamie ideas that contributed to a poor economy, failed foreign policy....and so on and so forth.

Coining a phrase....
“We’re about to see something we ain’t never seen before”

Job 39:19-25 (NIV)
19
“Do you give the horse its strength
or clothe its neck with a flowing mane?
20
Do you make it leap like a locust,
striking terror with its proud snorting?
21
It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength,
and charges into the fray.
22
It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
it does not shy away from the sword.
23
The quiver rattles against its side,
along with the flashing spear and lance.
24
In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground;
it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
25
At the blast of the trumpet it snorts, ‘Aha!’
It catches the scent of battle from afar,
the shout of commanders and the battle cry.

From think tank —

What conclusions can you draw about Trump from the appointments he has made?

He doesn’t really value policy or Washington executive branch experience. He has no experience, his chief of staff has no experience. He has three generals in his team but they have military experience – no executive civilian branch experience – and a lot of corporate folks.

He has gone from a White House which was very Oval Office centric and had gotten rid of Homeland Security Council and blended the National Security Council (NSC) and National Economic Council (NEC) together to a White House where he has recreated Homeland Security Council, brought back to life NSC and NEC and a new International Trade Council. So now there are four councils doing what one was doing before.

This suggests he is likely to run the presidency like a loose holding company rather than one strong centrally operated government appropriation.

That suggests two things: he will devolve power down and won’t be involved in day-to-day management of things and he has said as much. Secondly, the gatekeeper to the president is going to have a lot of power: it could be his chief of staff, the NSA, vice-president Mike Pence, his son-in-law Jared Kushner or Steve Bannon. There is going to be a lot of scrambling to be the chief whisperer of this presidency.
