Hong Kong and Taiwan are both necessary as conduits of change into the youth of China. The old guard is either dead or dying. Those currently brought up under the old guard are seeing the youth bring a change of attitude simply not possible as recently as 10 years ago. This Chicap revolution of youth may take 50 more years to change the government into some form that is agreeable.
