From what I was hearing the Rs were getting rid of it, not the case at all.
I think many of us have family members that are raging libs. I’ve learned not to discuss politics with some of my family members spouses. Don’t know where they get their news (or if they even get it). We got into a somewhat heated discussion some years ago, so I just don’t bring it up - they are not open to discussion or seem to want to hear the truth AT ALL. It’s especially interesting in that one of them has a Jewish mother that was in France during WWII and has/had family living in Israel. The mother is conservative and she and I had some very good conversations on the side during family parties.
