“This is my place and if I don’t want to serve a Trump person, I can do that,”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This used to be a free country, but now if you don’t want to make a cake for a gay wedding you are driven into bankruptcy. Same thing would have happened here if someone didn’t point that out to him.
Actually, most conservatives/libertarian leaning folks would have defended his right to run his business any way he chose but would have also chosen to take their dining dollars elsewhere, which is how it should work! No one would have sued him - they would have just waited until his restaurant went under and then probably bought it cheap and started a great new little restaurant.
Only liberals resort to filing lawsuits against honest entrepreneurs because it’s the only way they can “win” their battles and force people to accept their views since they have no desire or ability to actually convince people using logic or reason!
Sadly, sexual perverts are now considered a protected class in this country. No so for decent conservative Americans. All we can do is withhold our business from these intolerants until it hurts them in the cash register.
“This is my lunch counter and if I don’t want to serve Niggras, I don’t have to” said the owner of an Alabama lunch counter in 1965.
No true American should go to this place—maybe picket the joint and boycott the establisment until it closes.
