I posted it as a protest against regulatory excess.
Ah, I remember them well.
I want the rats to go away but do not want to see them exterminated? Oh wait, the article was about rodents, not dems.
I saw a guy that was a gopher/mole/ground squirrel exterminator that had a gas engine driven compressor where the exhaust from the engine was run into the input of the compressor. He would fill this big tank in the back of his truck with the exhaust gas. He could instantly fill the rodent tunnel with the high pressure exhaust and I guess it worked.
You seem to want regulation just in the proper form and dose. Is your only problem with the regulation is that it is excessive? In other words you agree that the EPA should regulate how pests are controlled so long as it is not excessive.
You see the problem? Most of us on this forum would like to see the EPA uprooted and dumped in history’s garbage bin. Not reformed or lightened or reigned in or the excesses trimmed back. Any EPA reg in any form that s excessive.
That was 2015, but warm weather is welcome
No, realistically realizing that some regulation is sadly necessary does not translate into favoring the EPA as it is now as being the agency that does the regulating.
I chaff at the myriad regulations in the US, from local to federal level. I think if you should be able to do your own plumbing and building repair without a license, though such may be subject to inspection. And that laws in a crowded city that forbid a driveway within 20' of a sidewalk and must have 19' of space (width) is absurd (but for 450+ you may get a special permit)
But i am not a radical libertarian or anarchist who imagines that everyone and every company will not do things that are unreasonable and unnecessary, and deleterious, from dumping oil and antifreeze down the sewer to what the EPA itself did (which should be fined like it would do if anyone else did it).
And if men are not controlled from within, by God and sound conscience, then they will have to be controlled from without.
However, insofar as those who do the latter are not controlled by God and sound conscience then it will persecute those who do, and will lust after power, ending up in dictatorship of the self-exalted elite. Which is a demonic goal.
What they didn't advertise was the fact that they were all excellent insect repellents and where we were headed, sand flies were absolute monsters along the beach areas and if not protected, they would leave horrible itchy welts all over your body that would drive you crazy for a month.
Anyway, we had tried everything on previous vacations and nothing kept them away like this Cactus Juice.
But back on point, this product was never advertised as an insect repellent because to do so, they would have had to spend enormous amounts of money to get their product approved as such by the FDA.............
And neither is dry ice advertised as being a pesticide, but that use of it for that is what makes it wrongly illegal in the eyes of the EPA.
