In 1986 I was in Paris and bombs were going off then more frequently than now. Lived there three years and loved every minute of it. I am very much in my right mind and determined a long time ago I will live my life as I choose. Risk is everywhere and believing you are going to live forever is stupid and not being in your right mind. FEAR governs far too many people. It’s why America is sliding from being a country of WARRIORS into a country of WIMPS!
I can appreciate that. I enjoy the quiet of a duck blind, the serenity of fishing and the quiet contemplation of extreme beauty to be found in museums.
Unfortunately the only thing I used to catch when I went fishing was a hangover back when I drank, LOL. Not really into hunting only because the taste of wild food does not taste all that good to me. Perhaps those who had caught and served me their catch didn’t do something right. At any rate since I won’t eat what I would catch I don’t hunt. But I do like museums. Still wouldn’t go to Europe though. 8>)
.
Sorry, no you are not in any kind of “right mind.”
.
Says you, Chicken Little. I doubt you know much of anything about Europe and even less about Paris! 30 years ago there were places one simply didn’t go in Paris. Not all that much different now. I would rather be in Paris than Chicago , Baltimore,Miami, or L. A. to name a few. Since I know all these places well, I am imminently qualified to know where I can enjoy a fun vacation.
OMG...so true...I'm 6'6" and 255...so I feel your pain.
