Without disagreeing at all that the UN, as a general rule, is totally incompetent and corrupt, there is a measure of value in remaining a member - in the same way that maintaining a veto in any wacko organization has value. Being able to simply say "No" is a good thing. Please understand that two other issues should be separately considered.

1. Financial support. Not one more penny until everyone else gets caught up on proportional support. That should take at least ten years.

2. Headquarters location. Declare the NY site to be condemned for public use and recommend that Switzerland is lovely this time of year. The over-bloated staffs can go practice their skiing. Or they could all march off to some tropical location completely taken over by disease and THEN show their compassion by actually solving some health problems.

Just a couple of thoughts.

I’m all for getting the thing the hell off our landmass. I’m all for not paying another cent.

In fact, I’d like Trump to form some congressional committee to review the matter, and determine if the USA should renew its lease of the property, and secondly stay in the UN.
