U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday once again criticized the United Nations in the wake of the anti-Israel resolution passed last week by the Security Council.
“The UN has such tremendous potential. Not living up to its potential,” Trump told reporters at his hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.
“When do you see the United Nations solving problems?” he added. “They don’t. They cause problems. So, if it lives up to the potential, it’s a great thing, and if it doesn’t, it’s a waste of time and money.”
The remarks are a continuation of a tweet posted earlier this week by Trump, in which he said the UN is simply “a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time”.
On Saturday, the President-elect said he would work to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority despite the fact that the vote at the Security Council made it more difficult.
“The big loss yesterday for Israel in the United Nations will make it much harder to negotiate peace. Hmmm, I’m a Trump supporter, but he’s totally off base with that comment.
The U.N. is populated with folks so dumb that in comparison, Gore is Nobel Prize winner in physics. They have no worth, save for sucking O2 in the city where one can take a crap in public and not be nailed for it.
The individuals there who qualify for anything other than cleaning one’s toilet can be numbered on a couple of hands.
U.N. has screwed the pooch now. :)
GOOD! But since UN causes so many problems, or is used by evil doers to cause so many problems, it should simply be put out of its misery ASAP

I’m thinking he means that men of good will could achieve progress through the UN format. Unfortunately, there are few to none men of good will in the UN, because leeches inevitably migrate to such organs of unchecked power.

The UN was a great notion much like San Francisco was a great city. They both have turned into sewers because that's what liberalism does to civilization, viz. it destroys and corrupts everything it touches.
Trump will do what he can concerning the UN, but it's unlikely the pimps and whores in Congress will allow him to do much. What does he need to do? Expel the UN to someplace like Kenya and turn that real estate into condos.
Just like DemocRats, the UN manufactures a problem that no one knew existed and then proposes a solution that only makes things worse.

The UN’s only purpose as a deliberative body seems to be to condemn Israel, a relative fly-speck on the map. Surely the haters of Israel can indulge in their hatred without a huge organization devoted to it, funded by US taxpayers.
