. . ."New Zealand also trades with the Arab states, is about to sign a free trade agreement with the Gulf Co-operation Council.

"There's huge profits being made to export lamb and other dairy products, other food products to the Arab states.

"If there was to be a big trade payoff, the calculations would be in favour of going with the Arab and the Muslim countries."

Meanwhile, a pro-Palestine group urged New Zealand to pull out of a collaboration deal signed this year with Israel's film fund.

The Film Commission signed the agreement with its Israeli equivalent in March, encouraging collaboration in film, television, animation and digital productions. . .

Though the article has a point, I think NZ’s trade with China played a more significant role.
Israel will be an impediment to China’s plans for the Middle East.

Except that they already sell lamb and ag products to the middle east. So that isn’t going to change.

But perhaps because of it, their sympathies lie with the arabs rather than Israel.

New Zealand - Socialist scum...

Yeah I know I was born there but America was always ‘the old country’ for us...

I wanted to immigrate when I was 16 but though my father agreed with me coming here, wouldn’t sign for me to get a passport...He told me to wait until I was 21 and get one myself...

and so I did...

and have never regretted the 45 years I have lived in the greatest country in the world...

a country that would turn its back on Israel is not a country I would want to live in...

By God’s mercy we have a new president who loves God and loves Israel and wants the best for America...

I learnt as a child in the Anglican Church in New Zealand that Moslems hated me and would kill me because I was a Christian...

It is sad that 60 years later those same lessons have been forgotten by that country...

Meanwhile when I arrived here in 1971, most people in America never knew that Moslems were the enemies of those who loved the LORD Jesus Christ...

I pray they all wake up in time...

For the record, the ruling party in New Zealand right now is the “National Party”, New Zealand’s equivalent of the Republican Party in the USA.

NZ carries the burden of being a co-sponsor of the anti-Israel resolution and I would express my displeasure if I were POTUS and take some appropriate action.
