Shooting someone like that 12 times would seem to be something personal rather than a routine robbery. In either event it shows a lot of rage.
Now, if they had California’s ban against high capacity magazines, she would have only been shot ten times.
Yep, especially odd since it is an elderly woman. Not sure what to make of it.

My practiced drill to stop a deadly threat is three rounds: two to center-of-mass, and one to the head. And I pray to never have to do so against another humanl.
If I shoot five rounds, it is almost always to generate a measurable, statistically-significant group for accuracy measurement.
I don't recall ever having dumped twelve rounds into any target without stopping.

IMO, this shooting was beyond "rage" -- and into madness -- or, long-taught/suppressed racial hatred.
