Personally, I suspect Donald Trump is perfectly fine with what has unfolded here despite his public statements to the contrary.
It's not that he supports this U.N. resolution, but that there is absolutely no upside to having his administration expend any time or effort to deal with this issue. For the foreseeable future he will have far more important things to address here at home.
