I decline to accept that conclusion. Eliminating fraud alone swings it by several million. In this case the fraud was insufficient for their purposes.
There needs to be a recount in California and New York. Hillary probably won the popular vote because of illegally cast votes. Only the electoral college vote has saved us from voter fraud prevailing.

The best way to confirm that is to merely look at the way she treated her supporters once it was known that she lost. She had absolutely no time for them because it was all about her.
Also, Trump went on a voter “thank you” tour.
Hillary went on a donor “thank you” tour.
I vote for both, adding greed and stupidity to the list.

No one can say who won the popular vote, because we did not hold an election for popular vote. The election would have been run and campaigned differently if we had. Getting more California votes in our election process is meaningless, a candidate must get the most votes in the most states. Our system focuses on the states and their rights. Not individuals or mobs. As such, our individual votes count within the states we live, and are meaningless to all other states. The most liberals can say is...,,,”we one the popular vote IN California, Illinois,etc.”, Not, “we won the popular vote period.”

People always project. While it is true that Trump showing up in swing states certainly helped him fire up his people, and get the vote out, perhaps Hillary’s people knew that she was radioactive that showing up in a swing state was a net negative for her, and therefore she was being very strategic in letting her advertising do the dirty work.
I mean, she is just abhorrent to Working Class men - seems like a sanitized version of her was her only hope.

And I seriously doubt she wanted to...it was the Party DEMANDING that she show up, or the donors were set to bolt.
...and California also pulled off something VERY CLEVER, which was to have their ONLY STATEWIDE RACE (other than the foregone presidential one) between two DEMOCRATS (US Senate) - and it was competitive, so Democrats had a reason to come out - for Republicans, nothing, except a handful of Congressional and local races.
The Electoral College PROVED ITS WORTH last months - our founders were GENIUSES.
We are going on Day 64 now but that is not up yet. I am impressed with his presentation.
