Social media certainly allows Trump to bypass the conventional media and go straight to the people as the brilliant cartoon here points out.

Tweets are probably the most effective way as they limit characters to 140 or less and citizens can get them anywhere - on the train, waiting in line at the supermarket, at work, etc. For more substantive communications, Trump can put out press releases and statements however people are less likely to click through and read those.

The 140 character Tweets are about the perfect size and they allow Trump to put them out in clusters.

The average American doesn’t want to read over 140 characters...and frankly Govt pukes should be able to explain things in short bites. The bureaucracy likes to convoluted things no one can understand to keep their paychecks coming. Trump will MAYBE make Govt workers back into the SERVANTS they should be.
