What exactly was Assad doing that made us want to supply terrorists to overthrow his government? I just never saw justification for our initial involvement. Were we acting on behalf of the muslin brotherhood? I am not sure.

It was a CIA/Soros/Hillary color revolution but unlike in Egypt he chose to fight back after they murdered around 200 cops. Most people in the west wouldn’t have heard about such things because the MSN lies to us all the time about Syria.

The situation there was complicated with several different groups opposing him. Our failure to support the rational ones strengthened Daesh.
Obama diplomacy -total madness.

He was blocking the gas pipeline from the Gulf States into southern Europe. That made him an international terrorist and a brutal dictator and a murderer of his innocent population.
The fact that he won the last free, internationally monitored election Syria was able to hold in 2007 and the fact that he did a good job of keeping the peace in his country while protecting the non-muslim communities must be ignored. Money, money, money. Always follow the money.
