Not quite Christmas Eve yet - that’s tomorrow. But yes, it’s looking like it’s going to be a warm one for Christmas - forecast top of 35C/95F for Melbourne (poor Adelaide is looking at 40C/104F).
My family actually does a pretty traditional English style Christmas Dinner despite the weather - Roast Pork and Turkey with all the trimmings, followed by Christmas Pudding. Thank God for air conditioning. But we are down at the holiday house at San Remo, right on the beach, looking out at Phillip Island, on the other side of Westernport Bay from the country’s largest naval training base, HMAS Cerberus. This is my element.
