The Radio City Rockettes will perform at Donald Trump's inauguration next month, an aide to the president-elect said Thursday.
Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn announced Thursday on CNN that the group would be performing.

Good! My ballet/tap teacher as a child was a retired Rockette.
Give it a couple of days. After the Rockettes have been bombarded with physical threats, boycotts, and hate mail, they will withdraw from the inaugural performance.
When was the last time performers for a Democrat president’s inauguration were threatened for doing so?

Not likely. Rockettes can do more than just high-kick with those gams. Think MMA with extreme grace and beauty. Kick your head right off your shoulders, NY-style.
I think this is unwise, it plays into Clinton’s characterization and framing of Trump.

Were I Trump, I would just take the oath of office and start to work. There does not have to be balls. festivities, performances etc. Not doing it would send a powerful message to a lot of people.
Went to their Christmas Spectacular several years ago.
The fact that they could keep up that level of energy for such a lengthy performance was damned impressive!
