Can some millennial out there explain what "bragging about being woke" means?
There's also a connection to the movie The Matrix, wherein the hero is given a choice to take the blue pill and stay in sub-conscious simulated lala land, or take the red pill and wake up and see reality for what it really is. So, "woke" and "red pilled" are similar terms.
