Does anyone recall that the jihadis were outraged that none of their attacks were being acknowledged so they kept escalating, prior to 9/11, with “chatter” published that now we couldn’t deny it? Pretending it never happened will only lead to bigger, more horrific attacks.
This was a few days ago. They are activated right now. We are at increased risk through the season.
