I’m sure a market would spring up for FAKE, replacement microstamped pins; delivered from an enterprising 3rd world ‘business’ man: overnight; too!

So I am thinking that - assuming that micro stamping is required - a well planned crook would just collect the brass from a couple of gun ranges, sort out his caliber, and then at the crime scene, police his brass and toss down a couple of handfuls of the collected brass.

Might be obvious that the scene was tampered but it sure would slow down the cops.

Revolvers don’t leave shell casings?
Wait one....got to ask my Dem friend....be right back....
....
....
ok, she has the solution....pass a law requiring revolver shooters to empty the shell casings on the ground where they are. Thus even for a revolver, the micro-stamped shell casings are available at the crime or whatever scene.

Another problem solved by the same superior intellect that brought us ObamaCare.

Next problem to be solved?
Global warming?
Simple...dramatically higher taxes....so people can’t afford energy (lighting, gas, heating, travel, etc).

Crooks pick up shell casings at the range?

Easy solution...pass a law saying it is not allowed.

Duh? (obvious solution to any good Dem ‘intellectual’)

Yeah, no kidding. Or they will require that the ranges mark all brass with the date and time of it’s use, and maintain a log of all visitors for up to 7 years.
