I usually say, “Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year”. To the consternation of my children, when they were younger.
So far in the past three days I’ve heard Merry Christmas from a Target employee, a Pharmacy employee, several waitresses and a doctor and a nurse at the VA. The times they are A changin’

Yep. The times they are A changin’ back to the way it used to be.... if you were around a couple of decades ago.
What can one possibly say about people who have so little of importance to do that they sit around grumbling because someone else chooses to celebrate Christmas.
And notice that they never complain about Eid celebrations.
At this point they are probably living off donations so it doesn't matter what WE think it's the LIV liberals who don't know that, that are sending them the money they are living on. Cut their money supply and you'll be hearing a lot less from them. I'd bet they certainly aren't living in squalor. I bet a little investigation on their wealth and lifestyle would make the libs and atheists think twice about sending them their money.

THE FFRF is so freaking silly it is beyond belief. As if the Founders would not have had manger scenes at Christmas time themselves, as if they did not pray before, during and after meetings etc.

I ordered some books for my great grand kids this year. One of those was Christmas in America, by Calista Gingrich.
At a little neighborhood get together last night, we were talking and all agreed, we have not heard MERRY CHRISTMAS so much in years. I am curious if others agree. I actually have, in just passing and eye contact etc., have had people smile and say MC, lots of clerks in stores too.
My wife’s nephew is a flaming Christian/Jew hating “friendly atheist” as he puts it. He abhors anything to do with Christians and Christmas but damned if he is going to turn down his Christmas bonus or the holiday off. He is such an insufferable arrogant little bastard.
We have crossed each other on facebook but in person he is a snotty version of pajama boy and quite cowardly. Passive aggressive as my wife calls him. He is the big bad atheist on facebook slaying Christians the way the Romans did but in person a total wussy.
I don’t suffer him well and go out of the way to wish him a Merry Christmas whenever I see him this time of year.
