Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in a telephone call about the results of talks in Moscow on Tuesday on the Syria crisis, the Russian foreign ministry said.

The foreign ministers of Turkey and Iran attended the Moscow talks with Lavrov and the defense ministers of the three countries met separately in the Russian capital.

The Russian foreign ministry also said in its statement that U.N.-brokered negotiations in Geneva on the Syrian crisis had hit a dead end due to ultimatums from the Syrian opposition in exile. Moscow backs Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the conflict.

Those ultimatums issued by "the Syrian opposition" were brokered by Turkey.

There are hundreds of Turks among such rebels, and many of them still draw military pay from the nation of Turkey.

These suckers are in a bad spot. Should be begging for their lives rather than issuing ultimatums.

There is a missing component in this. The Kurds. They have consistently been the ISIS killers. The only ones who did that, and the US gave them nothing past small arms support.

Nowhere are they mentioned in this discussion.

That is no accident.

Why bother?

Mr. Lavrov wants to know what the wrong answer is.

I agree with you. The key to a lot of this is the Kurds. But, there is a group of the Kurds we shouldnt deal with..thay are full bore communists. I believe that is the PKK? Dont remember now.

The ones I’ve met on the web are good people. They have long history of helping other groups survive Islamist persecution and murder. Yes, they are communal in organization. But not Totalitarian Globalist Commies like most Commies. And they are mountain people, tough soldiers (even their women) and have a reputation of being honorable.

The Jews trust them and the more sane Muslims do. Some of the Kurds are Muslim, some are Christian, some are Zoroaster. Most claim to be from Yazidi.

Turkey hates them. Especially the PKK.

The YPG and YPJ are effective soldiers, have little more than small arms to defend themselves.
