Governor Scott Walker sent a letter this week asking President Elect Donald Trump for help.
In it, Walker asks Trump for immediate action on some controversial issues in the state like refugee placement.
The letter is just over three pages long. Walker writes specifically he has expressed concern about refugee resettlement from countries with "terrorist ties".

Back to Bahrain. They have lots of room for refugees.
Walker on the same page as Trump. Nation First.
All Terrorists Out! Out! Out!
I wish someone would tell the refugee protectors to STFU.
We have people dying!
Amazing how a new leader can change the tone. Trump will enable a lot of people in the Repub’s to show they have a pair, not that Walker needs to,
Well played, Walker.
Yeah, and put a stop to the “charities” who profit from importing them!
I think the refugee apologists must be required to house at least 10 refugees in their own homes
It is amazing that a state has no say in who is brought in.
Ship every one of the ME “refugees” home. For starters. Then work down the list.
We will "Work Something Out"
which means:
Work =...apply existing laws
Something = all illegals, visa overstays, voters using false SS numbers, voting in multiple states, voting for dead people
Out = deport them all.
I wonder if their will be financial compensation for each illegal brought back to the border?
Gets my vote!
Good.
If we don’t let them in, we don’t have to deport them. Bar them.
Their brothers in Mecca have acres of empty tents. We don’t want them.
We, in Nashville are deluged with these “refugees” thanks to a huge Catholic Charities active group here. Middle TN and West TN has taken a lot of them. The largest contingent of Kurds in the USA are in middle TN mainly Nashville and what did we get? Mosques who sue local and state govt and Kurdish GANGS. Between that and the prog mayoress/city council who LOVE “refugees” and illegals, we now need $6MILLION MORE for the metro schools budget this year. Why? ESL classes for the students AND their families (English as SECOND Language). Per the request filed, there are over 100 languages spoken in metro Nashville schools! If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. The Legislature hauled the “refugee commission” and the head of CCharities before them last year and what happened? They stonewalled and basically laughed in their faces—it was disrespectful of the people of TN BUT they are SO convinced of their “mission” (and the $$$ they make!) what WE want makes no difference to them. Hopefully this coming session will see some real legislation to deal with this issue but until then we have to put up with it. I live in a very nice area of the city and just last week began seeing women in BURKAS while I was out shopping—WHAT???
even if refugees were ‘extremely vetted,’ governors should have the final say on settlement
Walker may not have been a good Presidential candidate but he is a very good Governor.
