I know what you mean. I didn't (and still don't) know much about Mr. Pruitt, but since the Greenies were up in arms I figured he must be pretty good.
But then Jeb had to deflate my balloon by endorsing him.

I'm not going to hold Jeb!'s endorsement against Pruitt.
I think Jeb! just put his finger to the wind and figured out which way the wind is blowing.
