The importance of the work that Arpaio and his people did proving Obama’s birth certificate is fraudulent will become apparent shortly.

"...Trump will be depicted as a nature and environmental hater while he’s at it..."

My feeling is, he is going to be vilified in that fashion anyway. He might as well do something useful with it.

Environmentalists have overstayed their welcome. Their shrill anti-development cries do not have any purchase with the American people. Marxism is dead. Get over it.

The President of the United States may, from time to time, withdraw from disposition any of the unleased lands of the outer Continental Shelf."

Nothing there that says the land cannot be returned to production by a future President. Again, this is a Fake News story where the the lie is screamed by one PR drone and then endlessly repeated until it becomes accepted as "true".

To be honest I would rather buy cheap oil from overseas than use our limited resources anyway. Use Russia’s oil first. He who has the last barrel of oil will rule the world. The real money is to be made on refining and burning the oil anyway. Not pumping it or selling it. What he should do is approve the pipeline and let the industry build another refinery or two.

Daily Mail January 2001

President George Bush has launched an investigation into what appears to be a systematic disabling of White House equipment by outgoing members of Bill Clinton’s staff, and obscene messages left for the new administration.

The inquiry, which could result in prosecution, was prompted by what internet journalist Matt Drudge called “acts of vandalism and destruction of federal property” and widespread sabotage of White House office equipment.

Telephone lines have been cut, voice-mail messages changed to scatological, lewd greetings. One Bush staffer’s grandmother telephoned his office from the Midwest and was “horrified” by what she heard on his message machine.

Many telephone lines were switched to the wrong offices. Desks were turned upside down and rubbish scattered everywhere.

Filing cabinets were glued shut, pornographic pictures inserted into computer printers, together with obscene slogans. In one office hallway, lewd graffiti had been written with a Magic Marker.

No that is utter and total and complete nonsense. As oil gets used up alternatives to oil will become more economically feasible. New technologies will emerge to replace oil.

The result is oil is a economic wasting asset that eventually will be worthless. He who owns the last barrel will be holding a unless antique valuable only as an oddity from history.

Once Obama puts things like this in place, it will be a long, drawn out process in the hostile court system to reverse it. Using the possibly less hostile Congress might be slightly faster.

Obama is a Racist and truly hates Whites. He despises America and has thrown money away left and right. He has done everything he could to destroy America’s SECURITY. HE HAS COME DOWN ON ALL POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND TOOK SIDES WITH CRIMINALS AND COVERED UP FOR Terrorist. HE Is the worse President in our History and we should treat him as such.

Is there any provision in the “law” that PREVENTS the executive’s successor from repealing the decision?

NO?

Even if Saudi bribes are “alleged” to have “influenced” that decision.

“Foreign Influence” is BAD, donchaknow?

To be honest I would rather buy cheap oil from overseas than use our limited resources anyway. Use Russia’s oil first.

The counter-argument is that Russia will use the profits from our money in other ways that will not be a benefit to us, and we will burn off what we purchased in no time.

Wouldn't it be better if we sent that same money to our own oilfield workers as wages, so they can spend that money in their local restaurants and shops?

Even if it is a law, a new law can pass to over ride it.

Trump will be depicted as a nature and environmental hater while he’s at it.

The leftists in Big Media (and elsewhere) will deluge him with bile and vitriol, libel and slander, no matter what he does. Don't waste any time pandering to those bastards, Don. Do what needs to be done.

The law appears to be just the opposite of what is being said? Congress passed the law to give coastal waters back to the states. I am no lawyer, so I got bored quickly trying to read through it. Maybe another Freeper smarter than me can explain what the media is referring too?

They cite polls saying 59% of Americans want to block offshore drilling virtually everywhere... are these the same polling organizations that predicted the Witch would be President? If so, NO SALE.
