Poland and Hungary really get it.
...
I’m not seeing much in the way of terrorism in those countries either. Germany and France, on the other hand...
Funny how it works that way ...

How do Poles in such a church-rich environment decide which parish to belong to?
I’m not sure. I did go to a few Masses and I found St. Mary’s had a young large parish. There was one church, the oldest one, that had a very old parish. Some of the churches had different types of priests, like Jesuits and Franciscans.
I think I want to live in Poland now.
I was always proud to say I’m Polish, just a bit more so today!!!!!
I’m really impressed with Poland lately. They put up with so much crap from the Nazis and Soviets.
It’s great to see them grow. This is wonderful news!
I never knew many Polish people before I joined the Army. But I was sent from Washington State to Louisiana for basic training and that’s where all the mid-western draftees were going at that time so I met quite a number of Poles from Chicago and other cities in that area. If they were typical of the Polish in general, they have to be some of the nicest people in the world.
That is pretty awesome. They can expect the minions of Satan to attack them. The Way is not always easy in the short term, but it is always worth it in the long run.
Poland is a great place to visit. Krakow is one of my favorite cities on the planet.
Ennhh. I dunno. Jesus himself kept insisting that he was not an earthly king, and refused all attempts to make him one.
Having said that, an error in this direction is better than the anti Christ attitude embodied in many nations today.
I love Poland.
When I was a kid, it was a somewhat standard, mindless thing to tell Polish jokes, or Italian jokes. I owned massmarket paperbacks of joke collections on these topics. You could never sell such things today. But the humor was pretty much meant in good fun.
But as I got older, I learned more about Poland, throughout the centuries, and especially in WWII, and overcoming communism ... the Poles are a great people. No joke.
Even in the countryside their Churches are things to behold.
We stopped in a small village, called Orawka, near the border of Slovakia and went inside the wooden John the Baptist Church, it was absolutely beautiful, there are many such old wooden churches scattered around the country.
They're used to it.
“...the Polish people voted so overwhelmingly for their conservative leadership that, for the first time since World War II, not a single left-wing lawmaker remained in Parliament.”
OBVIOUSLY the United States lags far behind this advanced society of clear-headed people. Trump should ask the Poles to scrap and replace our public educational system; what they have appears to be something of a marvel in terms of the end result.
The total fertility rate (TFR) in Poland is one of the lowest among all the countries in the world ...
I always forget O.F.M.Conv is represented so well in Poland. Well, now I want to go.
The PO might as well be left-wingers. They are every bit the crybabies our Democrats are since they lost the last election to the PiS.
