Inauguration performances use to be an honor, a celebration of Americas unique electoral system. But the media has reduced this years to a B-list side gig that only desperate artists would dare to play at. When news broke that popular blind tenor Andrea Bocelli would be singing at Trumps inauguration, people took to social media and started a push to punish him for showing any support for the President-elect. Now, one month before the event, Bocelli has decided the performance isnt worth the backlash.
Twitter users adopted the #boycottbocelli hashtag to show their horror that a well-respected artist would dare agree to perform at the January inauguration. The social media fervor has now become so intense that Bocelli has backed out of the performance.

Ted Nugent wouldn’t cancel.

He can still sing at the inauguration, just tell him he is outside in Central Park. How would he know any different?

Perhaps a nice Church Choir could step in and sing hymns. Or would that be offensive?I would love to see that; and I hope it continues to offend all the moonbats so that one or two might be saved. How about the Gaither Vocal Band? Liberty University has a marching band. I'd love to see Charlie Daniels play violin, for another type of music. Did he ask Dolly Parton? She wouldn't put up with nonsense. Loretta Lynn, although she is rather frail now, supported him during the campaign. He could also draw on his background and have Scottish pipers, which are often attached to military and police fraternal groups.
The military branches of service used to have small and large combos of instrumentalists and singers, although it is possible they have been sequestered out of existence during the Obamafamine.
Don't worry; Trump will find people who are today's bravehearts.

Who in Hell is this anyway......who cares!!!! I never heard of him either, but I think it's gross that liberals bully people who are reluctant to obey their demands.

That is a very demeaning thing to say. When one sense is shut down, others become more acute.

Unfortunately he is Italian. What is that supposed to mean? They had an Irish singer (from Ireland) at Reagan's memorial, Ronan Tynan, probably for the same reason -- political bullying by the left of any American who would have stepped up.

Removing tax breaks from the entertainment industry, ending Department of Defense, General Services Administration, and National Park Service cooperation with entertainment producers, imposing tariffs on offshore entertainment production, defunding the National Endowment for the Arts, including the Public Broadcasting System, banning foreign ownership in media companies, and attacking oligopolies in the Internet, newspaper, and broadcasting industries under antitrust laws are measures that will attack the enemedia.
