The left has always been the same. But in the past they had the middle voting their way. Not so now. They are losing the middle. If they can’t get a little moderation, the hard left will have a difficult time. Expect Warren and Michelle Obama to be the front runners in four years. As the left tries to add white women back to their coalition.
I submit that our economic renaissance be totally distanced from the HRC Archipelago: do not enhance the tax revenues or opportunity for the Blue Islands.
Concentrate the economic jumpt-start to the reddest areas, make the lefties lose population and support when their base is forced to move to the prospering places.
The District of Columbia has served us well over the years, but it is time for a big change. Decentralize the federal Departments to tertiary jurisdictions throughout the country. Decentralize the Federal government.
The left is like the spoiled rotten brat who has been terrorizing the household for years first as a bratty child, then a nasty teenager, and now as a full-grown adult who thinks the world should give her everything like her family did her whole life.

I agree, because unless this is done, they will have the ability to come back at the national level. It must be a death of a thousand cuts. Money spent in one place can get redirected anywhere, so attack all of it. Defunding them anywhere defunds them everywhere. This also includes state spending as well. I have advocated that all republican states implement Scott Walker's teacher reforms. They can't fight everything all at once.
One thing Trump has over Reagan is interest rates. They will be going up during his administration, making the cost of borrowing higher for the government. Cuts made during his administration will be hard to put back in the next democrat president. If he succeeds at this, the democrat party is a regional party for a generation.

I agree. I never understood why Nixon and others thought the break-in was necessary. The 1972 Democratic convention was a disaster. I am also convinced that one of the reasons McGovern obtained the nomination was because he headed up the commission that wrote all the new rules for that convention!
