The United Nations on Monday launched an appeal for $547 million (€524 million) to help 1.6 million people in the Palestinian Authority (PA) in 2017, AFP reports.
The response covers 1.1 million residents of Gaza, and half a million people in PA-assigned of Judea and Samaria.
“Needs in Gaza remain particularly acute and humanitarian services provided by the international community remain a lifeline,” said Robert Piper, UN humanitarian coordinator for the Palestinian territories, in a letter accompanying the launch and quoted by AFP.
The appeal was down from $571 million the year before, of which about 47 percent, or $267 million, was met. …

Presuming US taxpayers are the usual victims in funding terrorists abroad, is this the UN’s normal schedule of feeding at the trough or are they stepping it up after Hellarity’s spectacular tumble down the stairs?
I would’nt give those animals one damned dime.They seem to use the donations to buy plenty of weapons but neglect their people.

I’d rather spend $547 million on Doggie Hamlet.
If you can’t feed ur people or pay your bill you aren’t a country. If you can’t assimilate with another country then you just starve.
If the “international community” really wanted to help the Palestinians, they’d give the $500 million directly to Israel, with the stipulation that the money be used to completely take over and colonize the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, remove the leaders from power, and assume direct responsibility for governing the residents and leading them through an intensive period of “de-hating.”
Maybe, after 15 or 20 years of this, the Palestinians would be ready to become normal people and join the modern world. Maybe.
Disperse them back to their nations of origin. It they don’t know, let them pick from any Arab state they want. I’m sure they will be treated much better by their own kin.
Appeal somewhere else. America first now. We have some of our own to look out for and help.
