Hi Kathy, yes, it's cold with a bit of a warming spell tomorrow but our snow isn't going anywhere for awhile.

Black ice sucks!

EEEEK! Be careful going home this evening on those slippery roads! I know you’re careful - - it’s the others on the road who can be dangerous.

Howdy, LUV!

How’s your day been? Did you ever warm up?

Hey, radu! It was an ok day. Warmed up quite a bit from yesterday, and is 33 right now. We just got back from visiting my MIL. She still sounds rattley when she breaths but seems perky and I think is on the mend. it just takes a while when you are 95. :)

How was your day? All the kittehs behaving before Santa comes? What a silly question! LOL!

Glad it warmed up down there. That will move here tomorrow and we’re ready. Still cold here but with no wind, it wasn’t too bad.

I hope your MIL’s “rattles” disappear soon but you’re right, it takes a little longer with someone her age. At least she’s on the mend and that’s the important thing.

A decent day here. Bought a new desk chair because the old one has been giving me a lot of back and hip trouble. This one feels better though putting it together did a number on my back. Heating pads feels reeeeeeeeeeal good right now.

Silly question indeed! LOL! Kittehs are gonna get lumps of coal in their stockings. They’ve been lil terrorists the past few days. At least they’re all quiet for the moment. WHEW!

Ooo...nice that you got a new chair. Sometimes it’s the little things. If you could have just had someone else who would have put it together for you, then your back wouldn’t be screaming, though!

My two are not too awful, but if I could just get them both out at the same time, I’d be happy....and I’d sleep way better. LOL!

We’ll see if it helps. My back was already screaming so I need to wait until it calms down to know if the chair is better or not. It has better lumbar support than the old one and that was needed.

It wasn’t hard to assemble. If I’d let Hubby do it, I’d still be waiting to use it. LOL! Took several mentions to him to get him to bring it in from the car.

The chair box is why it got quiet in here. It’s full of kittehs and there are some sitting on top. Whatever works!

Oh, how I love kitties in boxes! Just like little kids!

Hope all the pain has subsided by tomorrow and you can enjoy your new toy!

Kittehs do love boxes, that’s for sure. Back in my single days, when I only had a couple of cats, I’d build multi-level houses with boxes. Can’t do that now with this bunch because they’d destroy anything I put together.

Not sure when the ol’ back will calm down. I made a wrong move yesterday and it’s been screaming since. I never know how long it’ll take for it to calm down. One day at a time.

It’s been knickin’ the stuffin’ outta me for 26 years. I’m used to it but sure don’t like it.
Just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings and hope for the best. :-)

Black ice sucks for sure. I stopped and did the last shopping before Christmas. I found a 1 pound Hershey bar for my Mom and I will wrap it so she has something. She needs nothing and loves chocolate. I keep her stocked year round, but she will understand this is a BIG bar.

Her stock of chocolate milk is in the fridge. If it’s gone before the new year...too bad. She will live. No more before Christmas shopping.

Several inches of snow on my car....covering the ice. I hate scraping windows. At least the Subaru has a good defroster and the front window was clear of the stubborn ice by the time I cleaned most of the snow off the car. After shopping I tiptoed home. Only one slippery intersection, altho 1 had 2 fire trucks packing up and leaving. Something happened.

I don’t know about that. You can’t hear all the grumbling and cussing that goes on. LOL

Black ice concerns are why I didn’t go anywhere yesterday. I don’t know what the roads were like but wasn’t willing to take any chances. All icy stuff was gone today.

Glad you managed to get the shopping done and get home unscathed. Sounds like it’s a good thing you did stop to shop, otherwise you might have been at that intersection at the wrong time.

I tried to think of something to get Aunt Clara for her birthday Thurs. but like your mom, she needs nothing. And I stopped taking her snack food because she forgets she has it and it goes bad. I decided to just get a few Mylar birthday balloons to tie on the foot of her bed. Clueless as to what to do for Christmas.

Well, that’s true, but someone with that kind of pain has a perfect excuse for grumbling and cussing! LOL!

Ya don’t want to mess around with that stuff!

Well, I’m beginning to yawn, so guess I’ll go to sleep. Not that I have anything pressing tomorrow...just ‘cause I can. LOL!

I like having less structure. Suits my lazy self. :)

See ya tomorrow night. Quiz night! Yay!

Yeah, but it makes it tough for the kitties and Hubby. LOL!

I just take it easy on the bad days but there’s always the up-and-down of scooping litter boxes and feeding the cats their canned food at supper time. If I move slowly, it isn’t too bad.

It’s just the way things are and one learns to live with it. And enjoys the good days all the more. :-)

Less structure is kinda nice, isn’t it?

I’ll see ya tomorrow night, though I may be a little later than usual. We’re going to a Christmas party but it usually doesn’t run very late.

Sleep well and enjoy having a little warmth tomorrow!
