Judge Sides With ‘Woman in Gold’ Lawyer, Orders Clinton Search Warrant Unsealed

By Talya Zax December 19, 2016 Steve Anderson

he lawyer battling to unseal the search warrant used by the FBI to search Anthony Weiner’s laptop for potentially incriminating emails from former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won a major victory today. In response to the motion filed by E. Randol Schoenberg, Judge Kevin Castel of the Southern District of New York ordered the court that provided the warrant to release “The search warrant, the application for the search warrant, the affidavit in support of the application for the search warrant, and the search warrant return” to the public. Those documents will be unsealed at noon Eastern Standard Time on December 20th.

What’s the significance of that?

Given ties between members of Trump’s campaign, like former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, and the FBI, Schoenberg thinks its worth investigating the source of such wrong information, were it proven to exist.

“These type of things have in the past led to very serious repercussions,” he said.

Grandson of the composer for those who don't know.

They made that clear over and over again in the movie.

We should also point out that in real life he doesn't look much like Ryan Reynolds.

They probably want to find a flaw with the warrant, so they can get all the evidence thrown out.

Hmmm, they should be careful what they wish for.

The more information released, the more incriminating all of this becomes.

Watch, before Obama leaves office, there is going to be a mass push to tell Trump that he needs to pardon Hillary. There will also be a massive push to indict her if the evidence warrants. Sooooo Obama can pardon her.

Every effort failed to overturn the election, they probably knew it was a long shot but what the heck... Now, it’s all about keeping the ill gotten loot over the last couple of decades and staying out of jail.

It seems they believe that someone on Trump’s “team” gave false info to the FBI to get the search warrant....

Me, I’ll be glad to know what they’re looking for...and I don’t think they’re done looking.

Maybe they are trying to find out what other evidence the FBI might have.

For example, was an informant within the Clinton/Weiner camp a source?

Whatever was used for probable cause, is something that Clinton/Podesta will want to destroy.

Also, they may want to identify any Government folks involved, to screw them in the next month, and/or persecute them later.

I doubt they can get anything thrown out or that their main aim is finding a flaw in the warrent.

I figure they're hoping to find a named source or two that was giving inside information to the NYPD.

“Fruit of the poisonous tree”.

IANAL, so could one of our attorneys explain this to us? I’m hoping the FBI did everything by the book. Considering they had no idea what all Weiner had, they must have just had blanket warrants for everything on his devices.

I’d read that a warrant wasn’t required when child endangerment was involved? In any case, one would hope that the FBI crossed its “T’s” and dotted its “I’s.”

They are hoping to be able to claim the warrant was deficient or improper in some way, which they are going to do regardless of what they see.

Still, it seems to me that anyone should be able to view a warrant and see what was actually used against them. LE has been known to fudge warrants. I would liken it to confronting your accuser.

I believe I read that at least two names will be redacted. That would be the Weiners. Everything I’ve read on this says they were after child porn and they found it and it involves people other than the Weiners.

The ‘Insurance” file emails were a bonus.

I’m confused. The article says FBI executed the warrant, but I’ve read repeatedly that NYPD found the incriminating photos. How does that work, between city LEO and Federal investigators?

Do not forget that Weiner was already under investigation regarding his behavior and disregard for his child.

The FBI then found pertinent information regarding another investigation. After that .. it’s questionable if they even needed another warrant as having found it on Weiners laptop.

Note how Team Hillary made to grievous errors here. They were probably strong arming weiner into conceding a deal and divorce decree to quickly sweep that off the table and they immediately denied that Huma used the laptop.

I think obtaining a warrant after discovering other evidence of a crime is perfunctory.

Hillary Clinton started out interning for a committee trying to take down Tricky Dick Nixon. Now Her Heinous may yet be taken down by another Tricky Dick,Anthony Weiner. Karma's a bitch, discovery is her evil twin.

I doubt Obama will pardon her, because that cosmically spot welds her to Richard Nixon as the most venal, paranoid and criminal of politicians.

The Clintons have been rejecting even the slightest hint of wrongdoing and a pardon by Obama is a huge neon sign that flashes “Guilty!”
