ISN’T GERMANY WONDERFUL? A nobody with no money can become Fuhrer and start World War Two, killing millions in the process.

;^)

I liked the part where they invaded the CCCP with a logistics supply line that included a vital reliance on horse and Wagon
The lack of proper weather gear also comes to mind.

There are few things as terrifying as a brainwashed german.

And they seem to be really susceptible to it.

It’s clear why Minderesting would ask Germans about the US election: they sure know how to pick leaders.

They are stupid. Trump is the one most likely to keep them safe from the savage invaders. Germany will get what it deserves.

Well, even with that the Wehrmacht performed five envelopment maneuvers the size of the invasion of France between June and November 1941, killing or capturing about 3.5 million Red Army soldiers.

After that, the Germans just didn't think the Soviet Union would be able to offer much resistance as they reached the end of their logistics train. They just seriously underestimated how quickly Stalin could replace the soldiers he lost.

An uprising in Yugoslavia delayed for several weeks Hitler’s invasion of the USSR. His mad notion of conquering a nation eleven time zones wide didn’t help, either.

Exactly. They haven't stood up against the decimation of their own Country under Merkel....who cares what they think.

“Amazing how cultural castration rots the brain.”

Good point. The Left seems to understand this quite well.

Germans criticizing a nation’s choice for its leader is like having Jeffery Dahmer put together a daily menu.

Wars are easier to win when you have near-unlimited manpower, and the will to throw it into a meat grinder.

Allies bombed the crap out of Mainz in WW II. I guess that didn’t knock any sense in them.

His grandfather got deported from Germany. As a young man, he left to dodge the draft. After he made his fortune in America, he returned to retire, but they “punished” him by deporting him.

Einstein, Bethe, ... another in the long list of people driven out of Germany who benefited America.

Danke!

But I’m naking pills for it.

We have all benefited greatly from our ancestors immigrating to the US. It was not a trivial trip and most of the time it was a one way trip with no hope of ever returning.

Desperation and then hope drove these hearty folks and they gained an appreciation for freedom and Liberty that we have forgotten and some of us now take for granted. They knew how bad it could be because the experienced it first hand.

I do like the stories like Trump’s grandfather. Europeans think too highly of themselves sometimes maybe because they are old and have a long history. But a lot of that history was not pleasant for the peasants and lower classes and it is nice to remind them that people of great talent (and determination) came to the United States and became successful when there was no hope for them in Europe.
