A leading Israeli think tank on Monday said it has found that Israelis are increasingly losing faith in their government and most Israeli public institutions findings that mirror the global trend of dissatisfaction and cynicism that helped propel Britains exit from the European Union and the victory of President-elect Donald Trump.
The Israel Democracy Institute also found a continuing nationalistic streak among the countrys Jewish majority, with more than half of respondents in a nationwide survey opposed to allowing Arab political parties into the governing coalition.
Tamar Hermann, an Israeli professor who led the research, said the study found a value shift away from Israels traditional liberal democratic roots that should concern its leadership.

It had to swing this way eventually. Perhaps they will jettison the altruist streak of making peace with the saber rattlers next door and ending socialism. No, not going to happen.
They have to win the next attack by repatriating or expelling the “enemy within “-— stop babying them out of such misplaced and exaggerated “humanitarianism”. Grow up and Win. Remove or kill the enemy before he murders you.
I cannot begin to understand Israeli government and its constitution. I do know they have a lot of Arabs and leftists who are detrimental to Israel’s security like our own multicultural and liberal retards. It’s incredible that Bibi has stayed strong with his coalition and opposition even from Obama who tried to rig the election. I think a new era of American and Israeli cooperation and friendship with President Trump is refreshing.
Israelis losing faith in government? Finally, some good news. Would, that we could be so fortunate.
