On this day in 1998 The House of Representatives made William Jefferson Blythe Clinton (aka "Slick", "Slick Willie", "Bubba") the second President to be impeached. Though largely a 'Red Herring', because the Articles of Impeachment failed to include the major crime of TREASON Clinton committed by providing missile guidance and rocketry technology to Communist China in return for illegal campaign contributions, it remains a stain on Clinton's legacy, much like the stain on the Blue Dress.

I remember that day quite well. The Clinton’s celebrated while making a mockery of our judicial system. And now, they wonder why America is rejecting more of the same by NOT election Hitlary.

I’d like to offer a sentiment of “Mitigation” on this Impeachment Day.
Different holidays have different sentiments - Happy Independence Day, Atonement on Yom Kippur, Merry Christmas, Thankfulness on Thanksgiving, and so on.
Impeachment is one of mitigation for all the klinton krap. Not total mitigation, but at least some.
Happy Clinton Rejection Day II, and the sequel is far better than the original, for obvious reasons.

You forgot the "deal" to allow North Korea to develop nuclear technology with a (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) promise they wouldn't develop nuclear weapons. And North Korea just tested its fifth nuke in September (coincidentally, while I was visiting South Korea).
And Obama not only made the same kind of deal with Iran, but gave them hundreds of millions of dollars to fund their nuclear ambitions.
Truly, with the track record of Democrats vis-à-vis national (and global) security, no Democrat should ever be elected again.
I was a teenager when this occurred, but it backfired. People had sympathy for him. It also caused the Republicans to not fight the Democrats in future battles.
No the Senate caves in 1995 on the budget battle, the marriage amendment and the English Official language amendment. THe Senate led by Bob Doldrums never supported the values that had given the majorities to the Rwpublicans in 1994. He was trounced in 1996 as a result,
THe Republican Senate has been spineless forever.
The greatest punishment that could happen to the Clinton Crime Syndicate is they have to share the same cell for life.
